President of International Physics Olympics (IPhO) Hans Jordans highly praised the level of training of students from Kazakhstan participating in major international academic contests.
«For the past 5 years the team of Kazakhstan’s students has been preforming well in the international physics contests. Your students are always winning medals or becoming victors in major competitions. You have won gold, silver and bronze medals. In my country, Netherlands, we content ourselves with a couple of bronze medals, not even dreaming about top prizes”, - said H. Jordans during the briefing at CCS.
In his opinion, the success of students from Kazakhstan is not a coincidental and is based on the systematic approach to training. “I do not think that children from Kazakhstan differ from children from other parts of the world. Their success is based, I suppose, first and foremost on the level of education in the country, on the level of preparation of students for the international contests, on the qualification of the coaching staff. That’s why I must say I admire the performance of your children in the international competitions. One cannot be successful in science without passion, without drive. Your children have it, they are task-oriented”, - he concluded.
